Coach Training Feedback

“Tailored the training modules around my particular skill set”

clive-wilsonI was looking for a credible trainer and a life coach training programme that was flexible, personalised and a base from which I could become accredited with the International Coaching Federation. Cassandra and the programme she offered ticked all the boxes for me.

Working with me individually, Cassandra was able to specifically tailor the training modules around my particular skill set. This resulted in less time being wasted in areas of my strength and more time being given to the areas of required development. I was able to work through the modules at my own pace and the sessions with Cassandra both cemented the learning and modelled to me the art of coaching.

Cassandra is an outstanding coach and her enthusiastic professionalism brought the theory of coaching to life. She walks the talk! She also respects the particular vision and values of her clients.

The training session that stands out most in my mind took place over a cup of tea in the Langham Hotel in Auckland. It was there that the name for my coaching business naturally emerged as the result of my answers to some very well placed questions. A ‘eureka’ moment was reached and the domain name was secured there and then.

Significant Lives was born; a coaching business that is a great reflection of who I am and my vision for the kind of coaching role I want to play.

I will always be grateful to Cassandra for giving me the perfect start and warmly recommend her to anyone wanting to explore life coaching as a career.

“The material and training is a fantastic base”

Rob ReidThe programme as presented by Cassandra was very self-paced and self-discovery oriented, with plenty of change to experiment and experience the exact learnings that potential coaches would go through as part of the process.

I have a firm belief that any form or training or learning should be a combination of styles – experiential, tactile, listening, talking, processing – and should also be relevant, engaging and challenging.

The coaching training I received was all these things.

There are really good resources in terms of both the coaching training manual and the Worklife Solutions workbooks.

The most enjoyable aspect was probably the challenge – having to constantly be ‘on-the-ball’ and prepared to respond, think and react in the moment, and demonstrate and explain the skills while simultaneously learning them.

And it was also entertaining and at the right level of formality (or informality) to suit my own style.

The coaching sessions are stimulating and exciting – forward-looking. The reality (and skill) is to get to the right level of training before getting into some practical work, and in my experience, Cassandra has that balance just right.

The material Cassandra provides is a fantastic base, and the encouragement and positive energy to build on this is infectious. Make the most of all the opportunities – combine personal experience, natural skills and insight with the training programme, resources and toolkit.

“AMAZING!!”

Hooray! Thank you so much, I’m absolutely stoked, and can’t wait to make a positive difference in peoples’ lives. My training experience was really enjoyable, lots of key learnings and interesting insights which I can carry with me into my life – not just my coaching! ”

“Following my calling”

“Even though I have been a midwife for 26 years, it is what I have known. I have worked in NZ and overseas and in many challenging situations. Stepping into a new situation and the unknown and training as a coach is exciting. I knew it was right to contact Cassandra and Worklife Solutions.”

“The programme leads to results very quickly in a language that’s easy to understand, inspiring and dynamic.”

From the moment I met Cassandra I knew I’d made the right decision to train with Worklife Solutions, she was enthusiastic, bubbling with personality, inspiring and honest in her actions which I really appreciated.

We had a lot in common and she is a great role model through all her creative outlets that you can’t help but want to be a part of it.

The programme leads to results very quickly in a language that’s easy to understand, inspiring and dynamic.   Our one on one sessions were always fun and even led to a coaching road trip which was an amazing day of discovery, creativity and inspiration.  I was left buzzing after my training and even though there was that element of fear, I felt inspired to get going as soon as possible.  This lead me to take on my own first client within 2 weeks and it’s just kept building momentum from there.

Within a month I had set up my own business, my website/business cards as well as tapping into an amazing network, on top of working full-time.   I have never looked back and am enjoying every step of the way, not only have I been on a journey of discovery myself, but I’m so grateful to have found an industry that is so rewarding and evolving that it doesn’t feel like work at all!

If you want to make a difference and grow as a person in the most amazing ways, then I can’t recommend Cassandra and her Worklife Solutions programme highly enough.  Thank you, Cassandra, for your continued support and inspiration, I look forward to many exciting adventures ahead.

“Worklife Solutions’ practical and tailored method of learning is such a refreshing experience”

As promised here’s some feedback on your programme and on how you have changed me so far. They say that great mentors can completely change our lives and that if we want to become some of the best, then we must learn from some of the best. Nothing could be closer to the truth.

I could not have chosen a better person to train with. Cassandra ensures that I have all the bases covered in order to be a great coach and on top of it she tailors the programme according to my needs and areas of interest. Cassandra challenges me and pushes me towards growth to become the best coach I can possibly be.

Being a student at a university, Worklife Solutions’ practical and tailored method of learning is such a refreshing experience which makes learning a much more exciting journey as it should be! I must say Cassandra is one of the most inspirational New Zealanders I have ever met – it is not often that I see someone so knowledgeable changing the world by following their passion, originality and creativity.

As Mark Twain wrote “Keep away from people who belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you too can become great.” Cassandra is one of the great ones.

“An invaluable experience”

I loved our discussions and got loads out of it.  I’m feeling very inspired right now 🙂 I’ve so enjoyed and valued the journey I’ve been on since Step 1.  I feel like I’ve come a long way and am all the better for putting the work and energy into it.  It’s been an invaluable experience which I hope I can share and impart with my own clients in due course.

“A big drawcard was the individualised approach”

A big drawcard was the individualised approach – which just one week into training has already proved its worth! I simply wouldn’t be making the same progress if I was, say, hooking into a weekly webinar with a dozen or more others and one trainer.

~ Clive W, EAP and Corporate Coach

“An easy-paced, fun course”

The training enabled me to learn innovative steps that provide encouragement and insight for people wanting to discover or alter their vocation. Cassandra not only introduces us to ways of helping others to help themselves but I find that I to am on a voyage of self-discovery.”
~ Fiona Ransom

The training is everything I expected and more.

The depth of the workbooks is extremely valuable as they guide us and provides us with a solid base in which to begin our own career coaching journey. I have enjoyed the new learning and experience and appreciated the training coaching clients that have been forwarded on.”

“Moving in the right direction both personally and professionally.”

Thank you very much for a great experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it and have so much information to digest that I know will help me move in the right direction both personally and professionally. Now to make the time to make it happen! It was also great to meet you at last; I really enjoyed the course and everything you brought to it. I like your style and was heartened to see there is a way for my other skills to be integrated with coaching skills. You have created something very special. Once again thank you!
~ Erica Weir, HR manager

I loved the fact that the training was tailored to me – my passions, and interests and things I cared most about. The training boosted my confidence and skills and within a month of commencing training I had set up my own business.

“Trying the techniques and testing my ability in a safe environment.”

What I enjoyed most about the coach training was the opportunity to try techniques and test my ability and understanding in a safe environment. I believe that this course has started a valuable learning experience for me that will be invaluable in my development as a coach.

“Realizing a lot of things that I could have been doing differently.”

I’m pleased how things are going so far, realizing a lot of things that I could have been doing differently over the years and changes I need to make with clients.

“Life after the course has been exhilarating!”

Life after the course has been exhilarating and fast moving! I met with my first client today to help her pioneer the way forward with goal setting and soul-searching. It was quite funny how it happened as she had found out that I had just finished the course and so came up to me and asked me if I could coach her.
